Join Port Newark Ingredients as our next Planning & Logistics Manager and become a key driver of supply chain this highly visible leadership role you will oversee production planning materials management inventory control logistics and customer order fulfillment while partnering with S&OP teams to align operations with business goals. Your key responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the work activities and resources required to manufacture ingredient products in accordance with cost quality and quantity and coordinate production scheduling packaging order fulfillment product delivery and distribution activities.
- Coordinate scheduling and product delivery with affiliated entities and external production planning allocation and inventory control as a member of the Ingredients S&OP team.
- Prepare and maintain inventory product distribution packaging and logistics air-shipment performance and support punctual delivery against target.
- Monitor incoming raw materials for compliance with prescribed quality standards. Ensure compliance with applicable local state and federal regulations related to product and coordinate inventory and cost-control programs with the Director of Chemical Production.
- Collaborate with Production and Quality Control to resolve issues involving schedules raw-material availability finished-goods and raw-material quality and sales orders.
- Manage logistics operations for the Port Newark platform including external warehouseLead Port Newark customer-service activities and support resolution of customer budgets and approve expenditures for supplies materials and human that materials labor and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets.

You bring
- Bachelors degree in business administration operations management supply chain management or equivalent preferred
- Solid understanding of ERP systems (SAP Preferred)
- 4-year degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Business required
- 7 years prior supply chain experience with minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong communication organizational analytical and cross-functional skills required
The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicants job-related skills experience relevant education or training and primary work location. Salary range: $147000-$167000.
