Responsibilities
- Install and assemble piping systems according to specifications and blueprints.
- Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance of piping systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues or leaks in the piping infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with other trades and project teams to coordinate installation and maintenance activities.
- Read and interpret technical drawings schematics and specifications.
- Select and utilize appropriate tools and equipment for pipefitting tasks.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all pipefitting activities.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications
- Journeyman level Pipefitter with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Valid certification or license as a Pipefitter.
- Strong knowledge of piping systems materials and installation techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in using pipefitting tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various conditions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screening.
- Flexibility to work extended hours if required.
