GableTek is seeking experienced Industrial Pipefitters for an automotive automation project in Novi MI. Qualified candidates must have hands-on experience with industrial pipefitting robotic automation systems and machine tool manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with little to no supervision reading mechanical drawings and schematics to install and assemble piping systems for robotic cells tooling and automated manufacturing equipment.

• Read and interpret schematic drawings mechanical blueprints and bills of materials (BOM).

• Fabricate assemble and install piping headers.

• Measure cut and thread pipe to specifications.

• Install service stands lockout valves and related piping components.

• Install and route piping for industrial robots robotic tooling and automated assembly systems.

• Pipe sealer equipment and other industrial automation machinery.

• Prepare and install valve packs manifolds and associated components.

• Run hoses and properly dress robotic tooling according to customer specifications.

• Drill tap and ream holes as required for installation.

• Safely operate hand tools drill presses grinders and other fabrication equipment.

• Ensure piping installations meet quality standards safety requirements and project specifications.

• Previous industrial pipefitting experience in a machine tool manufacturing or automotive automation environment.

• Experience piping industrial robots robotic tooling and automated manufacturing equipment.

• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings schematics and bills of materials.

• Experience building headers threading pipe and installing pneumatic systems.

• Knowledge of valve packs manifolds service stands and lockout valves.

• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance or supervision.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

• Must have reliable transportation and required personal tools.
