Physician Associate Studies Adjunct Instructor

Sacred Heart Universitys Department of Physician Associate Studies in the College of Health Professions invites applications for Adjunct Instructors to support the Master of Science in Physician Associate Studies (MSPAS) program at our Tandet Center campus in Stamford MSPAS program prepares future physician associates to provide compassionate respectful high-quality health care through a student-centered curriculum that emphasizes primary care collaborative practice hands-on learning and clinical integration. Students learn in small in-person classes and state-of-the-art medical skills labs while developing the knowledge and competencies needed for professional Instructors will support teaching and related academic activities during the didactic phase of the MSPAS program based on their professional expertise and the needs of the :Masters degree or higher in an appropriate NCCPA certification or applicable national board certification in the candidates of two years of professional experience as a licensed PA or other licensed health care professional; three years for applicable Connecticut teaching experience in a PA program and familiarity with the ARC-PA accreditation process Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) and other licensed health care professionals with relevant teaching experience are also encouraged to verbal written and interpersonal communication to contribute effectively in a highly interactive learning environment that emphasizes collaborative teaching faculty-student engagement and clinical successful candidate will foster a collegial and supportive environment that reflects the Universitys mission and values and enables all members of the community to thrive and Instructions:Qualified applicants are invited to submit a letter of interest current CV statement of teaching philosophy and relevant examples from courses taught (if applicable).
