Job Summary
A Physical Therapist Assistant assists the Therapist with therapeutic exercises training or treatment plans to return the patient to a normal pattern of movement and functioning as possible. The primary functions are to perform patient related activities including delegated procedures that are commensurate with his/her educational skill and : Required: Graduated from an accredited physical therapy assistant program OR High School Diploma or equivalent AND Grandfathered status under the Missouri State Board for the Healing : No prior experience requiredSkills: Good clinical expertise communication skills human relations skills and organizational skills required. Self-motivated individual who can work independently with little direct supervision required Has demonstrated interest in professional growth by attendance at continuing education workshops and applications of new principles and/or Required: License for Physical Therapy Assistant active in the state of Missouri
