• Hours:Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

What Your Day Looks Like:CMHs Parkview Health Care Facility (PVHCF) is a 78-bed long-term skilled nursing facility. A 15-bed memory care unit meets the specific needs of individuals with Alzheimers disease and other forms of dementia. Parkview offers rehabilitation services. Full-time in-house therapists provide speech physical and occupational therapy.

As aPhysical Therapy Assistant you will be:

• Leading patients through strength balance and mobility exercises
• Providing manual therapies stretching and applying treatments like ultrasound or electrical muscle stimulation
• Communicating with patients and caregivers to provide clear directionson the use of rehabilitativedevices and equipment
• Preparing and sanitizing treatment areas ensuring equipment is set up
• Monitoring and reporting progress and documenting patientcare services with relevant and timely information

Qualifications

• Education:Completion of aPhysical Therapy Assistant program with an AssociatesDegree from an accredited institution
• Skills: Patient care problem-solving customer service and listening skills
• Licensure/Certification:Current Missouri Physical Therapy Assistant Certificate
• Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of standing and walking ability to lift push and pull up to 50 lbs. with patient and/or equipment assistance ability to carry up to 35 lbs.
