Position Summary
The Physical Therapist evaluates patient conditions develops individualized treatment plans and provides therapeutic interventions designed to improve mobility strength and overall quality of life.
Key responsibilities include:
Evaluating patient conditions and creating individualized treatment plans
Providing ongoing physical therapy treatments and monitoring patient progress
Educating patients families and nursing staff on follow-through care plans
Communicating patient progress or concerns with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members
Assisting with patient scheduling and charge posting
Documenting patient care in accordance with regulatory licensing payer and accrediting requirements
Maintaining equipment and ensuring a safe and clean work environment
Adhering to professional standards and applicable state and federal regulations
Performing additional duties as assigned
Must-Have Qualifications
Must obtain Physical Therapy license in Missouri
Doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
Current CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
Hospital experience in an acute care or rehabilitation setting
