Physical Therapist Assistant

A leading home health organization in Salem Oregon is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join its growing rehabilitation team!

Pay: $38.00 - $44.00/hour

Physical Therapist Assistant Opportunity:

• Full-time permanent direct-hire position
  
• Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule
  
• Guaranteed weekly pay
  
• $5000 sign-on bonus available

Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy according to the direction of the Physical Therapist and physicians plan of care
  
• Treat patients to relieve pain restore function and maintain maximum performance
  
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises gait training transfer training muscle re-education and prosthetic training
  
• Utilize therapeutic modalities including heat cold water electricity ultrasound and massage
  
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment and changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
  
• Educate patients on the proper use of wheelchairs braces crutches canes and orthotic or prosthetic devices
  

Physical Therapist Assistant Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with an Associates Degree required
  
• Current Oregon Physical Therapist Assistant license required
  
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
  
• Valid drivers license and reliable insured vehicle required
