Job Summary
A leading home health organization in Portland Oregon is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join its growing rehabilitation team!
Pay: $41.00 - $45.00/hour
Physical Therapist Assistant Opportunity:
- Full-time permanent direct-hire position
- Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule
- Guaranteed weekly pay
- Mileage reimbursement provided

Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services under the direction of a Physical Therapist and according to the physicians plan of care
- Treat patients to relieve pain restore function and maintain maximum performance
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises gait training transfer training muscle re-education and functional activities
- Utilize therapeutic modalities including heat cold ultrasound electrical stimulation and massage as appropriate
- Observe and report patient responses to treatment and any changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients on the proper use of assistive devices wheelchairs braces canes crutches and orthotic equipment
Physical Therapist Assistant Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with an Associates Degree required
- Current Oregon Physical Therapist Assistant license required
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Valid drivers license and reliable insured vehicle required
