Chesterton Physical Therapy is growing and hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for an outpatient orthopedics position in Chesterton Indiana. A $4000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time candidates. Clinicians of all experience levels are welcome including new graduates. Candidates who require work visa sponsorship will also be considered.

About the Role

You will treat a caseload that is primarily general orthopedics with some chronic pain utilizing a combination of manual therapy and exercise therapy. Full-time PTAs can expect approximately 60 patient visits per week. Candidates with an interest in pelvic floor therapy are preferred. The clinic is a PT-owned private practice with locations in Chesterton Michigan City Portage and Valparaiso serving the local community with personalized one-on-one care free from the constraints of a one-size-fits-all treatment model.

Schedule

The clinic is open Monday through Thursday from 9am to 6pm and Friday from 9am to 5pm. No weekends and no holidays. The actual work schedule is flexible based on clinic needs staff availability and candidate preference. Part-time candidates with a minimum of 20 hours per week across three days will also be considered.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly rate for this position is in the range of $28 to $35 per hour based on experience. Full-time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Candidates must be eligible for Indiana state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant. No prior experience is required and new graduates are welcome. Full-time or part-time availability is required. Candidates who require work visa sponsorship will be considered.
