  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists including therapeutic exercises manual therapy techniques and patient education
  • Provide direct patient care in an outpatient orthopedic setting demonstrating professionalism empathy and attention to detail
  • Instruct patients on proper exercise techniques body mechanics and home exercise programs to support their recovery and independence
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic standards
  • Communicate effectively with patients Physical Therapists and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated high-quality care
  • Monitor patient progress and report observations to supervising Physical Therapists to support treatment plan adjustments
  • Assist with clinic operations and patient flow management demonstrating strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Maintain a clean safe and efficient treatment environment
  • Support patients with compassion and encouragement throughout their rehabilitation journey
  • Stay current with best practices in physical therapy and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications :

  • Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist Assistant license or ability to begin the licensing process promptly
  • AHA or Red Cross BLS CPR certification
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience including exercise instruction and manual therapy techniques (preferred)
  • Sports rehabilitation or injury prevention experience (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse patient populations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple patients and tasks efficiently
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform hands-on patient care and demonstrate exercises
  • Self-directed work ethic with a proactive approach to problem-solving and clinic efficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to follow treatment protocols and work collaboratively within a team-based environment
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality requirements
  • Compassionate empathetic approach to patient care with a commitment to supporting patient goals and outcomes
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced clinical setting
  • Strong attention to detail in documentation and patient care delivery
