PHY Systems Engineer – Mobility Control

Job Summary
In this role you will be a key member of the Systems Engineering team working on mobility control features for 5G and 6G wireless communication systems.
Scope different mobility control procedures identify the performance trade-offs and design innovative control dependencies between physical layer and upper layers to optimize control part in cross feature impact analysis. Determine how a physical layer procedure impacts other procedures and strive for a jointly optimized end-user experience and scalability aspects as a part of algorithm hardware and software development teams from design through commercialization via defining test procedures and debug methodologies.
BS and 10 years of relevant experience is understanding of 5G-NR standard: RRC and PHY -depth knowledge of Wireless Communication with Matlab C/C Javascript and/or Python for system-level simulation workflow automation data analysis and theoretical analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiar with NR reference signal design cell search/measurement and mobility with key RRC signaling flows between UE and to make proper design tradeoff considering power performance and with genAI tools to improve work efficiency and data analysis / machine learning skills.
