The Pharmacy Technician works under the supervision of the Pharmacist-in-Charge to support day-to-day pharmacy operations and ensure accurate efficient medication services. This role plays an important part in maintaining medication inventory preparing prescriptions and collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to promote safe and effective pharmaceutical care.

Key Responsibilities
Support prescription processing including entering physician orders and preparing medications for pharmacist review
Assist with medication dispensing and packaging
Maintain accurate inventory including ordering receiving and stocking medications and supplies
Support controlled substance tracking audits and compliance activities
Transport medications and pharmacy supplies to partner locations as needed
Collaborate with pharmacists providers and care teams to ensure coordinated service delivery
Assist with billing records reporting and general documentation
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Support onboarding and training of new team members
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements Skills Knowledge and Expertise
High School/GED preferred
QUALIFICATION(S): WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
At least one (1) year experience as a pharmacy technician preferred
Must have CALM protect training either upon hire or within 30 days of hire
A valid unrestricted drivers license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required
QUALIFICATION(S): LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
A valid unencumbered State Pharmacy Technician Registration required
