Pharmacy Technician L1 Dispensing

Position Summary

As a pharmacytechnicianyou willbe responsible formany aspects of the mail order prescription process. You may be assigned towork inall areas of the dispensing pharmacy including product selectionpackingand shipping. Tech L1 Dispensing team members are expected to perform any of the followingfunctions:manual fillingand packing fill medications for automated machines Quality Samplingof medicationsfrom automatedmachine packingorders using automated packing machinery. As a Tech L1 you may be asked tosupport the shipping handlerfunctionssuch as manually metering packagesand placement of packagesto be sorted for shipment.

Asa Pharmacy Technician youmustpossessbasic computerproficiencyand be able tolift upto 40 pounds. This position requires standing throughout the entire shift. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective interaction across all levels of staff.

Success in this role also depends ondemonstratinga high degree of reliability professionalism problem-solving ability and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.

Werelooking for applicants to be available for the shift listed below:

Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Friday 6:15am-2:45pm and Saturday 7:30am-4pm Thursday and Sunday off

Required Qualification

• ObtainanIllinois Pharmacy Technician License

• License Requirement: must complete IL Certification Requirements within 2 years from the dateyour licensewas issued which includes: 1) Passing theCPhTexam and 2) Backend Technician Training Program

• Responsibility ofmaintaininglicensure and compliance training

• Flexibility to perform duties across multiple functional areas.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to:
  - Read andcomprehendEnglish
  - Perform basic math (including dosage and days supply calculations)

• Physical ability to:
  - Stand for extended periods
  - Reach twist bend stoop walk andlift upto 40lbs

• Detailsfocused and task orientated.

• Regular and predictable attendance

• Colleague willbe requiredto work mandatory overtime/extended work week when needed

• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new processes technologies and workflow changes

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal Pharmacy Technician trainingor Pharmacy Tech experience

• Experience working in a Mail Order Pharmacy

• Certified Pharmacy Technician prior to 2024

Education

• Verifiable high school diploma or GEDrequired

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience education geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
