About the Role
McKesson Pharmacy Systems (MPS) is looking for a Pharmacy Interface Certification Engineer to support and certify integrations across our EnterpriseRx platform and partner this customer-facing role youll work with vendors customers and internal teams to onboard test troubleshoot and deploy healthcare technology integrations.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems managing multiple integration projects and working across both technical and business teams. Strong candidates bring experience supporting customer onboarding implementation or technical consulting activities. Youll play a key role in ensuring interfaces are successfully implemented validated and ready for production use.
What Youll Do
- Lead interface certification projects from onboarding through production deployment.
- Test validate and troubleshoot APIs interfaces and healthcare data transactions.
- Communicate technical requirements project updates and implementation plans to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Create and maintain documentation to support certifications implementations and ongoing support activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve integration processes and customer outcomes.
Minimum Education & Typical Experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Typically requires 4 years of relevant professional experience.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4 years of experience in systems integration interface certification implementation API support or a related technical field.
- Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs JSON/XML and integration testing tools.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience troubleshooting system integrations interfaces and data transactions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience working with healthcare or pharmacy technology platforms.
- Familiarity with HL7 FHIR NCPDP Script or NCPDP Telecommunications standards.
- Exposure cloud-based integration environments Postman SoapUI or similar testing and certification tools.
- Exposure to AI-enabled tools that improve troubleshooting testing or operational efficiency.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKessons pay philosophy and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
