Location: This is a fully on-site opportunity available in Corona CA offering attorneys the benefit of working closely with our litigation team and receiving direct mentorship and support.

Note: Candidates must have a J.D. from an accredited law school active California State Bar membership and 1 year of personal injury law or employment law experience. Plaintiff-side or defense-side experience is welcome.

Job Description

• Manage personal injury litigation matters from case inception through settlement or trial.
• Develop case strategy and independently manage discovery motion practice and trial preparation.
• Take and defend depositions and represent clients at mediations arbitrations hearings and court appearances.
• Draft pleadings motions briefs discovery settlement agreements and other persuasive legal documents.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance representatives.
• Maintain frequent professional communication with clients throughout the litigation process.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to move cases efficiently toward successful resolution.
• Participate as first or second chair in arbitrations and jury trials as experience develops.
• Handle matters involving auto accidents premises liability medical malpractice elder abuse sexual abuse and other serious injury claims.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active California State Bar membership.
• 1 year of personal injury law or employment law experience.
• Plaintiff or defense experience accepted.
• Strong legal research writing analytical negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage cases priorities and deadlines.
• Strong client communication and professional judgment.

• 1 to 2 years: $100K to $125K
• 3 to 4 years: $125K to $150K
• 5 years: $150K to $180K (recruiter-created bands based on client range)
