Provide recovery-based peer support services and outreach to peers who are experiencing difficulties transitioning from hospitals to the community or who are experiencing difficulties that might lead to hospitalization.

Experience as a consumer of mental health or substance abuse services.

Any combination of education (above the high school level) and/or experience equivalent to 3 years of knowledge of human services mental health or substance abuse including self-knowledge and participation in self-help activities peer support or peer advocacy programs consumer-run organizations or similar programs including paid or volunteer experience with adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses.
