is seeking an Pediatric Hospitalist to join our growing practice at

HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake Hospital.

HCA Clearlake Pediatric Hospitalist

Practice Description:

• Hospitalists cover pediatric inpatient floor and oversee PNPs who round in the newborn nursery.
• Each physician works 15-16 shifts/month.
• No in-house call.

Pediatric Unit

• New pediatric unit with 8 bed capacity. Accepts direct admissions from community -house from 8a-5p.
• Over-night home call for Pediatric Unit Nursery: 2 weeks per month
• Pediatric Subspecialists - Cardiology Gastroenterology Infectious Disease General Surgery Neurosurgery
• Additional Pediatric Services: Pediatric Emergency Room

Newborn Nursery

• Open nursery.
• Average4000 deliveries/yearwith average daily census 20 newborns.
• Nursery is covered daily by 2 PNPs.
• No delivery attendance.
• No circumcisions.
• Level 3 NICU in house.
