This job location is currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position within a busy well-respected practice supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
- Join an established team of physicians and dedicated multidisciplinary support staff
- Call structure: TBD (No nights or weekends required)
- Practice setting: Inpatient / Outpatient mix
- Access to Athena & Sunrise Clinical Manager EMR a behavioral-based outpatient Feeding Program dedicated pediatric registered dietitians and integrated pediatric psychologists
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology
- Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
- Evaluate diagnose and treat a diverse population of pediatric patients presenting with complex gastroenterology conditions coordinating closely with case management for inpatient consultations and discharge planning.
- Collaborate within an established specialty network to manage outpatient clinic operations accept regional provider referrals and contribute to initiatives that optimize the quality and cost-effectiveness of care.
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Gastroenterology required
- 54-bed regional pediatric inpatient hub (featuring a 32-bed NICU 15-bed Pediatric Inpatient Unit and a 7-bed PICU)
- Level II Pediatric Trauma Verification
- Serving a population of approximately 300000 in the greater Evansville metropolitan area
- Integrated referral network combining comprehensive maternal-fetal medicine dedicated pediatric emergency providers and an established multi-specialty Outpatient Pediatric Specialty Clinic

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
