The PC Technician performs microcomputer hardware and software installations and help desk support. Performs network support as directed. Supports all hospital locations. Duties include installing maintaining troubleshooting and repairing all PC based hardware and software. Provides support to end users on PC based applications. Monitors network and software usage and access and virus protection. Maintains logs of all hardware and software and assists Applications staff when necessary. Also provides coverage for computer operator shifts when necessary.

HS diploma or equivalent with additional technical school training in computer 1 to 3 years of experience with microcomputer windows software and networks is knowledge of Windows operating systems Citrix PC and Networking hardware Anti-Virus Email Internet security MS Office Ethernet or TCP/IP Topologies as well as PC Emulation. Good communications and customer relationship skills required. A Certification between the facilities associated with Riverside Health Care System.
