PC System Specialist
Locations: Fort Bragg NC (On-Site)
Security Clearance: Verifiable DoD Secret (or higher) is Required
Certifications: Must have verifiable CompTIA Security Certification
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform planning design and installation of new and existing personal computer systems.
- Consult with end users to determine hardware and software needs based on operational requirements.
- Develop programs or select and customize commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software to meet identified needs.
- Install configure and maintain computer hardware peripheral devices and associated system software.
- Administer and maintain telecommunications protocols as required.
- Provide troubleshooting diagnostic support and resolution for hardware and software issues.
- Train and support end users in the use of computer systems software and hardware tools.
- Document system configurations processes and user instructions.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies regarding IT security and system access.
Basic Qualifications Required Education Certifications Skills and Experience
- Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; OR Associate Degree (AA) and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting PC hardware software and peripherals in a mid-to-large scale environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum Citizenship Status Requirements: US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident
