Location: Northampton MA
Pay Rate: $24-25/hour
Position Description:
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for weekly review of electronic timesheet as well as bi-weekly processing of payroll for an agency of 2500 employees. Additionally this individual is responsible for answering employee questions troubleshooting issues and other payroll related duties.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Process information for new hires terminations and status changes.
- Review and process batches for bi-weekly payroll. Generate manual pay checks as needed.
- Process pay changes pay adjustments as well as calculate retroactive payments.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Maintain payroll records and files.
- Team builder supporter and player with integrity and loyalty. Dedication to serving the organizations goals and mission.
- Maintain acceptable attendance record.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Knowledge of automated payroll procedures
- Intermediate Excel Skills
- Microsoft Office experience
- Experience with Datis HR Cloud a plus
- 2 years payroll or related experience
