Job Summary

Manage weekly union payroll for a self-performing union workforce including union reporting certified payrolls and union audits

Develop and maintain internal processes for payroll-related GL reporting accrued payroll expenses and quarterly tax support

Required: Miter payroll/HRIS experience

Preferred: Union payroll experience within a construction manufacturing or similar high-volume environment

Seeking a hands-on leader who communicates well and thrives in a fast-paced high-volume setting

Requirements

Miter payroll/HRIS experience required
Union payroll experience required including union reporting certified payrolls and union audits
Background in a construction manufacturing or similar environment
Strong understanding of payroll-related accounting including accrued payroll expenses and quarterly tax basics
Experience working in a high-volume fast-paced payroll environment
Strong communication and leadership skills; comfortable taking ownership and being a visible leader in the office
BuildOps and Sage Intacct experience preferred

Required Skills:

Top Three Keys: 2 Years of Accounts Receivable / Complex Billing Experience Strong Organizational Skills QuickBooks experience preferred Candidates MUST be comfortable in a blue-collar environment
