Payroll Manager, International and Special Payroll

Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Payroll Manager International & Special Payroll located at our Austin TX Corporate HQ.
Reporting to the Director US/Canada Payroll the Payroll Manager will oversee payroll tax compliance ensuring accurate and timely payment of federal state and local taxes by managing tax filings staying updated on tax law changes and resolving agency issues.
We are on-site at Flex & engaged! Our Corporate HQ is on-site Mon-Thurs and remote on Fridays.
What a typical day looks like:
- Compliance and filings accurately withhold deposit and report federal state and local payroll taxes.
- Audit and reconciliation identifies and corrects discrepancies preventing penalties for inaccurate tax filings and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Payroll tax amendments submit and monitor amendments ensuring expected financial outcome.
- Process improvement analyzing and enhancing existing processes to increase efficiency reduce cost minimize errors and improve overall performance and accuracy.
- Regulatory monitoring tracking assessing and staying informed about changes in laws regulations standards and policies that impact U.S. payroll tax.
- Restricted stock unit recording/processing executes the recording reporting and accuracy of all associated payroll tax.
- Year-End close oversee the preparation and filing of year-end reports and tax forms.
- Team management guide and motivate direct reports toward achieving a common goal by fostering effective communication collaboration and delegation.

- 10 years of related experience
- Deep understanding of payroll tax laws regulations accounting practices and multi-state tax implications
- Strong payroll background with understanding of general accounting principles
- Experience working for a global enterprise
- Tax management experience
- Restricted stock experience
- UKG system experience
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field preferred.
