PAYROLL & HR SYSTEMS SUPPORT CONSULTANT
Worcester In-office Full-time
A specialist Payroll & HR Solutions provider is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & HR Systems Support Consultant to join their team. The role focuses on payroll systems implementation support data management and payroll processing assistance within a structured deadline-driven environment.
This is a highly data-driven role requiring strong Excel capability accuracy and the ability to work with payroll and HR system processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Payroll & HR Systems Support
- Prepare and format data import sheets for payroll and HR systems (e.g. Sage 300 People SPA SBCPP)
- Support payroll processing and outsourcing operations through data preparation and validation
- Assist with system implementation and data migration projects
- Clean validate and reconcile payroll and employee data
- Assist with system testing setup and troubleshooting of data issues
Excel & Data Management
- Work extensively in Excel for data preparation cleaning and reporting
- Maintain structured import templates and datasets
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies prior to uploads
- Ensure accuracy across multiple payroll datasets
Compliance & Project Support (Secondary)
- Assist with statutory reporting (Skills Development and Employment Equity)
- Maintain compliance trackers and documentation
- Support project administration and client data follow-ups
REQUIREMENTS
- Matric plus relevant qualification in HR / Payroll / Business Administration / Information Systems
- Strong Excel skills (essential)
- High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy
- Analytical and logical thinking ability
- Ability to work with structured systems and large datasets
- Ability to manage deadlines in a structured environment
ADVANTAGEOUS
- Exposure to payroll systems such as Sage 300 People SPA or SBCPP
- Payroll administration or payroll support experience
- Experience in system implementation or data migration
- Exposure to statutory reporting (WSP/ATR Employment Equity)
- Project coordination experience
