Payroll Clerk

Are you detail-oriented dependable and comfortable working with numbers Do you enjoy keeping things organized and helping a team stay on track Our growing automotive group is looking for a friendly and professionalPayroll Assistantto jointhe TMAGteam.

You do not need to know every turn in the road but previous payroll or accounting experience is required. Experience in the automotive dealership industry is a strong plus.

• Assist with processing accurate and timely payroll for multiple dealerships or departments
• Review time cards payroll changes deductions commissions bonuses and employee information
• Help maintain payroll records and confidential employee files
• Research and correct payroll discrepancies
• Support payroll reporting audits and month-end processes
• Respond to employee payroll questions in a helpful and professional manner
• Work closely with accounting human resources managers and dealership leadership
• Assist with other administrative and accounting duties as needed

• Previous payroll bookkeeping accounting or related office experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organization and time-management skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with care
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
• Clear and friendly communication skills
• Working knowledge ofGoogle WorkspaceandMicrosoft Office especially Excel
• Experience withDealerBuilt dealership accounting systemsis preferred
• Automotive dealership experience is preferred but not required
