Job Description
Our client a well-established and growing professional services organization is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Manager to join its New Jersey office. This highly visible role will oversee the firms multi-state payroll operations and comprehensive benefits programs while partnering closely with HR Finance and Firm Leadership to ensure an exceptional employee experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining compliance enhancing processes and supporting strategic initiatives across the organization.
The Payroll & Benefits Manager will be responsible for end-to-end payroll administration benefits management regulatory compliance vendor relationships open enrollment and employee support. This individual will also lead payroll and benefits audits oversee reporting requirements including W-2s ACA filings and 401(k) compliance and drive continuous process improvements and system enhancements. Candidates should have 5 years of payroll and benefits experience strong multi-state payroll expertise advanced Excel skills and experience with ADP or similar HRIS platforms. Law firm or professional services experience is highly preferred and CPP PHR or SHRM-CP certifications are a plus.
