Patient Care Technician Stepdown Unit (Day/ Evening) Gateway Campus
If youre looking for a role where every shift matters the Stepdown Unit offers the perfect balance of challenge teamwork and meaningful patient care. As a Patient Care Technician youll work alongside experienced nurses caring for patients who require close monitoring and advanced medical support. Youll play a hands-on role by assisting with daily care monitoring vital signs documenting patient information and providing compassionate support during some of lifes most critical moments.
Our 16-bed Stepdown Unit cares for complex medical-surgical cardiac stroke and sepsis patients while serving as the central monitoring hub for Gateway Hospital and The Heart Hospital. With a strong culture of teamwork continuous learning and specialized training this is an excellent opportunity to build valuable clinical experience and make a real impact every day.
Qualifications:
- BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification within 6 months of hire
- High school diploma or GED preferred
