Weekly Scheduled Hours: 36 hours

Weekend Schedule - Rotate every other weekend

Education

High School diploma or equivalent- RequiredAND

Must have one or more of the following:

• Graduate of Sentara Care Partner Certification Program
• Successful completion of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
• National Patient Care Technician (NCPCT)
• Completion of US Navy Hospital Corps School
• Emergency Services to include EMR EMS EMT AEMT and Paramedic
• Current student enrolled in a clinical program having completed at least one semester of a (RN LPN RT or PT) or current work experience within last three years as a PCT or Nursing Assistant.

Experience

Previous direct care experience preferred

Unit Department:

• 36 Bed Medical Surgical Unit
• Surgical Patients Include General Surgery Gastrointestinal OB-Gyn Orthopedics Vascular Urology Nephrology and more
• Generalized Medical Conditions such as COPD CHF Flu etc.
• Four week orientation for PCT.
• Immerse amount of opportunities for skill utilization
• Collaborative atmosphere with a wide range of RN experience
• Opportunities for Nursing Certifications

CNA PCT Days Nights Nursing Assistant NCMA EMT

We provide market-competitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $18.93 - $27.41 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials on-call pay overtime shift premiums extra-shift incentives or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications experience location market conditions and business needs.
