Job Summary
The Cook is responsible forsupporting the daily operation of the organizations food service program through food preparation meal service sanitation inventory handling and related kitchen operations. This position helps ensure meals are prepared and served in a safe sanitary and timely manner while maintaining compliance with applicable food safety standards.
Along with excellent training and experience Centre offers competitive compensation and benefits that include:
- Pay: $19.15 to $23.00 (Depends on experience and PT/FT status)
- Health and Welfare: Employees may be eligible to receive a health and welfare fringe benefit of up to $5.09 per hour in addition to base pay (Up to $407.20 per pay period!)

Centre serves clients referred through contracts with the Federal Bureau of Prisons United States Probation and Pretrial Services North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation North Dakota Department of Human Services Veterans Affairs among others. As an employee of Centre you will receive ongoing training in Core Correctional Practices Motivational Interviewing Nonviolent Crisis Prevention and Intervention and numerous other areas that will allow you to develop the skills and confidence needed to become a successful professional in the field. Centres training program and protocol adhere to the American Correctional Associations (ACA) Expected Practices for Adult Community Residential Services (4th Edition) standards. The ACA maintains the industrys best and most respected standards in community corrections.
