Role: Part-Time Shuttle Driver/Cashier (Non-CDL)

Location: Hyatt Centric. Las Olas Fort Lauderdale

Pay rate: $15.00/hr tips

Previous experience driving guests or operating shuttle vehiclesis a MUST.

• Performing vehicle inspections maintaining cleanliness of bus interiors fueling of buses logging trip counts and assisting disabled passengers.
• Responsible for being at work every scheduled day on time and in uniform.
• Possess a valid state-issued drivers license to be carried with driver at all times while on duty.
• Have and maintain an acceptable DMV record.
• Courteously assist Customers by answering any questions they may have. If necessary direct the Customer to the Facility Manager for further assistance.
• Report any known accidents observed or suspected violations of Company policy safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris water oil spills and etc. to garage office.
• Substitute for Cashiers or Valets when necessary if authorized.
• Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage thorough knowledge of the major streets landmarks and freeways in the area of the garage.
• Assisting customers with luggage and other traveling items if applicable (e.g. operating shuttle buses at an airport location).
• Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

What Youll Need:

• Experience: Previous experience is a MUST.

• License: A valid state drivers license with a current address and an acceptable driving record.

• Skills: Ability to drive a manual transmission (stick shift) is a strong plus!

• Availability: Flexible schedule to work special shifts as needed including 2nd shift 3rd shift and/or weekends.

• Communication: Ability to read write and respond professionally to customers and co-workers.

• Eligibility: Must provide valid documentation to work legally in the U.S. if hired.

• Adaptability: Ability to follow instructions and stay calm during changes delays or unexpected events.

Physical Demands:

• Active Role: Regularly required to stand walk and use hands to handle cash and equipment for long periods.

• Movement: Occasionally required to sit climb or balance.

• Strength: Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.

• Safety: Must remain alert and professional while working in a fast-paced environment.

DOT Medical Card: A Medical Examiners Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.

Salary Range: $18.00 per hour ( tips)

This role is eligible to earn tips in addition to the posted hourly rate.
