Drive company provided vehicles (vans/minibus) to and from schools and HOPE Farm sponsored activities providing transportation for students enrolled in HOPE Farm Inc. programs. The schedule will vary with the school calendar and HOPE Farm program activities. The Driver must be committed to the HOPE Farm Inc. mission. Drivers must have a positive attitude and enjoy working with school-aged youth. Drivers must understand that all interaction correctionand mentoring isbasedonLuke 2:52pillars: Wisdom Stature Discipleship & Friendship.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide safe transportation for students from designated school pick up points to HOPE Farm and/or to and from other HOPE Farm sponsored off site activities
- Have familiarity with Fort Worth roads and be responsible for knowing routes for any assigned field trips
- Follow all HOPE Farm policies with regards to health safety and well-being of passengers
- Develop and maintain a cooperative relationship with school personnel families and children
- Know and follow established plan in case of emergency and need for roadside assistance
- Report any mechanical problems with vehicles immediately to Transportation Supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Valid TX drivers license
- Clean Driving record and/or meets standards for coverage as required by company insurance provider
- Ability to establish positive relationship with students enforce discipline as needed for safe travel
- Comply with HOPE Farm policies re: professionalism and confidentiality
- Model behaviors consistent with HOPE Farm values
- Must pass Background check
