Part-Time Nursing Transportation

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents/patients to appointments procedures and scheduled outings
• Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed
• Secure wheelchairs walkers and other mobility equipment properly
• Maintain a friendly respectful and professional demeanor at all times
• Follow all traffic laws and company transportation policies
• Keep vehicle clean fueled and in good working condition
• Complete transportation logs and required documentation accurately
• Report vehicle maintenance needs incidents or concerns promptly
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff scheduling staff and leadership regarding transport needs

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and any required screenings
• Previous driving experience preferred especially in healthcare or senior care settings
• Ability to safely assist individuals with mobility needs
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Dependable attendance and punctuality required
• CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain if required)

Schedule

• Part-time hours based on facility needs
• Flexible weekday schedule may include occasional evenings or weekends
