Project-BasedFacilities Custodian at Marsden South

Shift: Monday to Friday 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Hourly Rate: $17

Location: Austin Texas

Requirements:

• You must be 18 years old
• You must have work authorization
• A criminal background check is required.
• Experience in custodial janitorial or floor care work preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning methods equipment and safety procedures
  
• Ability to lift moderate weight and stand or walk for extended periods
• Dependable detail-oriented and able to work independently or as part of a team

Job Duties:

As you might expect cleaning is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part youll be:

• Sweep mop and scrub restroom floors; vacuum and extract carpets as needed
• Including pressure washing and deep cleaning floors
• Clean and disinfect restrooms including sinks toilets and fixtures
• Perform deep cleaning and detail cleaning of assigned areas on a scheduled basis
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners; remove recycling materials as required
• Refill supplies such as soap paper towels and tissue in restrooms and common areas
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment
• Respond to special cleaning requests projects or emergencies (e.g. spills or leaks)
• Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals properly
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure cleaning standards are met
