Are you passionate about people pets and providing an exceptional client experience Chisholm Trail Veterinary Clinic in Lockhart Texas is looking for a friendly dependable and compassionate Part-Time Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our veterinary team!
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced veterinary environment connecting with pet owners and helping create a positive experience for every client and patient who walks through our doors.
We are looking for someone who can help throughout the week and work two Saturdays per month. If you are dependable organized customer-service oriented and love animals we would love to meet you!
What Youll Do
As a Client Service Representative you will be an important part of our veterinary hospital team and often the first and last person our clients interact with.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming clients and their pets with a warm friendly and professional approach
- Providing outstanding customer service throughout each clients visit
- Answering phones responding to client questions and directing calls appropriately
- Scheduling appointments and managing the flow of client visits
- Checking clients and patients in and out of the hospital
- Maintaining accurate client and patient information
- Processing payments and assisting with financial transactions
- Communicating appointment information treatment recommendations and follow-up instructions
- Assisting veterinary team members with client communication and coordination of patient care
- Helping maintain a clean organized and welcoming reception area
- Providing compassionate support to clients during routine visits as well as more emotional or stressful situations
- Working collaboratively with veterinarians veterinary technicians assistants and other hospital team members
What Were Looking For
The ideal Veterinary Client Service Representative is someone who is friendly reliable organized and comfortable working with both people and pets.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous customer service receptionist veterinary medical or animal care experience preferred
- Is comfortable working in a busy veterinary hospital environment
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Provides exceptional customer service and treats every client with compassion and respect
- Is dependable and able to work a flexible part-time schedule
- Is comfortable working two Saturdays per month
- Can multitask while maintaining attention to detail
- Works well as part of a collaborative team
- Is comfortable learning veterinary terminology and hospital processes
- Has basic computer skills and the ability to learn veterinary practice management software
- Has a genuine love for animals and a desire to help pets and their families
