Were looking for warm reliable and joyful early-childhood educators to join our Moxi teaching team as Assistant this role youll support a Lead Teacher in providing a safe joyful and engaging environment for young children. Youll help with daily routines set-up for learning experiences and build positive relationships with children and families.

Assistant Teachers at Moxi are an important part of our classroom community. Youll collaborate with your team to foster curiosity independence and meaningful play for children ages 05.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe warm and engaging learning environment.

• Help facilitate age-appropriate activities such as sensory play storytelling art and outdoor exploration.

• Assist children with daily routines (snacks toileting handwashing naptime transitions etc.).

• Build positive relationships with children and families through friendly professional communication.

• Help prep materials set up learning spaces and maintain a tidy welcoming classroom.

• Observe childrens needs and communicate important information to the Lead Teacher and leadership team.
  

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Experience in early childhood education preferred; experience with young children is required.

• A patient compassionate joyful approach to learning and behavior guidance.

• Ability to work collaboratively with classroom teachers and follow established routines.

• Comfortable in a busy dynamic play-based environment.

• Must pass a background check and provide professional references.

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain with Moxis support).
  

Schedule:

• This role is part time with the option to pick up additional hours during special evening and weekend programs.

• Afternoon availability required (12pm-5pm).
