The Parking Maintenance Technician maintains and enhances parking facilities managed by Parking Services. This position performs hands-on maintenance work including repairing parking assistance devices cleaning parking facilities and servicing minor this position the role supports the Parking Maintenance Lead by collaborating on department-assigned tasks such as maintaining the Orange Ride Program and assists the department with customer service duties.

• High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
• Two years of experience in general trades maintenance or a related facilities field.

Certifications Registrations and/or Licenses:

• Must possess a valid drivers license prior to hire and maintain a valid drivers license throughout employment.
• A valid drivers license is required to operate an OSU vehicle which is necessary to perform assigned job duties.

Skills Proficiencies and/or Knowledge:

• Knowledge of general maintenance principles
• Ability to recognize issues and apply basic problem solving
• Understanding of workplace safety practices hazard awareness and PPE use
• Basic computer and record-keeping skills
• Strong organization time-management and communication skills
