Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Ambulance Paramedic to provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in accordance with Wyoming State regulations established protocols and the paramedics scope of practice. The Paramedic will perform comprehensive patient assessments administer emergency medications and treatments maintain accurate documentation and ensure ambulances and stations remain fully prepared for service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of the Wyoming Paramedic license and established medical protocols.
  • Administer emergency medications and treatments in accordance with the State of Wyoming Scope of Practice for Paramedics.
  • Perform complete population-specific patient assessments and establish appropriate care priorities.
  • Provide timely and clinically appropriate emergency care based on patient condition and established protocols.
  • Accurately document patient assessments treatments and outcomes using the WATRS reporting system in accordance with Wyoming State statutes.
  • Ensure ambulances and assigned stations are clean stocked properly equipped and ready for service at all times.
  • Assist with patient care in other departments of Ivinson when requested under the direction of a provider or Registered Nurse and within the applicable scope of practice.
  • Effectively prioritize tasks and manage time personnel equipment and other resources to meet department goals and standards.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable policies procedures regulations and patient-care standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
