Clinical Shift Schedule: Night Shift 6:00 PM 6:00 AM
Hours: 60 hours every 2 weeks
Weekend Coverage: Every 3rd weekend
Holiday Coverage: Variable holidays

REQUIRED PROCEDURES / SKILLS
Emergency department patient assessment and management
Complete patient histories and physical examinations
Diagnostic testing and interpretation
Medical diagnosis and treatment
Hospital admissions and discharges
Hospital rounds and patient progress documentation
Routine therapeutic and surgical procedures as applicable
Rapid Response and Code Team participation
Cardiac stress testing supervision
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board Certification: Required
DEA: Current DEA certification required
Life Support Certifications: BLS ACLS ATLS
Experience: Minimum 3 years
EMR: Meditech experience
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assess and manage patients presenting to the Emergency Department
Obtain detailed patient histories and perform comprehensive examinations
Diagnose conditions and initiate appropriate treatment or referrals
Order and interpret diagnostic testing
Arrange admissions and discharges and perform hospital rounds as needed
Communicate with and consult the on-call Emergency Department physician
Respond to Rapid Response and Code Team activations as available
Provide patient education and follow-up guidance
Maintain accurate and complete medical records
Practice within established scope standards and clinical privileges
