Palantir Developer Data & Application Engineer

Geo Owl is seeking a Palantir Developer / Data & Application Engineer to design develop and support data-driven applications workflows pipelines and analytics solutions using Palantir Foundry and AIP. The ideal candidate will combine software development and data engineering expertise with the ability to translate mission requirements into practical user-focused solutions.

• Develop applications and operational workflows using Palantir Workshop Slate and AIP.
• Build and optimize data pipelines using Pipeline Builder Python PySpark and SQL.
• Design and maintain Palantir Ontology objects relationships properties and actions.
• Integrate data from APIs databases files and other enterprise sources.
• Develop dashboards and analytical products using Workshop Contour and Quiver.
• Perform data analysis data quality checks troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with analysts engineers mission users and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide user training technical documentation and mentorship.
• Apply security access-control data governance and software development standards.
• Evaluate and implement new Palantir capabilities including AIP and AI/LLM-enabled workflows.

• 3 years of experience in data engineering software development analytics or a related technical field.
• 12 years of hands-on Palantir Foundry development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python PySpark and SQL.
• Experience with Palantir Foundry Ontology Pipeline Builder Workshop Contour or Quiver.
• Experience with data integration data modeling and data pipelines.
• Strong analytical problem-solving communication and collaboration skills.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Ability to work onsite at Fort Belvoir Virginia.

• Experience with Palantir AIP and AI/LLM-enabled workflows.
• Palantir Foundry certification or formal Palantir training.
• Experience with AWS Azure or GCP.
• Familiarity with DevOps/CI/CD and enterprise security frameworks.
• Experience supporting U.S. Government defense or intelligence missions.
