Position Overview: The Painter is responsible for painting plastering and wallpapering public and guest areas to ensure a safe efficient well-maintained hotel Responsibilities: Maintain (paint wallpaper plaster etc.) all public areas and guest rooms on an on-going the hotel decor in good of all assigned work orders and daily as a team to keep the back of house areas and equipment in safe good working all work areas after completing out Daily Work form and communicate pass-on information to the Engineering a thorough understanding of Omnis fire alarm procedures and other a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and a thorough understanding of OSHA rules and familiar with all hotel amenities and hotel facilitiesTo be familiar with the inter-relationship between the different departments (to include PBX Guest Services Housekeeping F&B outlets Banquets Sales Engineering and Purchasing)Maintain 4 - Star/4 Diamond Standards of guest serviceAid guests in locating other areas of the hotel (walk them to destination if possible)Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents injuries and unsafe work conditions; complete safety training and all company policies and procedures; ensure clean uniform and professional personal appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company operate a two way radio power and hand tools required to complete pleasant smile and greet all guests using surnames when obtainedBe actively engaged with our guests. Identify the needs of our guests and meet these needs aiming to exceed expectations at every personalized memorable guest experiences by utilizing the Power of OnePerform other duties special projects as assigned by Engineering ManagementComplete other tasks as assigned by :P Must possess painting and basic drywall skillsAt least one year of prior painting experience is requiredPrevious wallpaper experience requiredExcellent customer service and problem solving skillsMaintain a professional business appearance attitude and performanceMust be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and some night/PM stand climb bend reach over-head squat and kneel for long periods at a time as the position requires constant motion. Crawling for short periods of carry and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance and push/ pull objects weighing up to 75 pounds without must be able to utilize step stools and ladders must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
