This position reports to:
Production SupervisorThe work model for the role is: Onsite Fort Smith AR
Your role and responsibilities:
- Perform painting tasks and operate related equipmentincluding motors spray guns and lifting devices while handling various materials like sealants and paints.
- Follow detailed work instructionssuch as Shop Floor Display TDRs and diagrams to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain productivity and safetyby monitoring machines disposing of waste properly keeping the workspace clean and prioritizing workplace safety.
- Communicate and collaboratewith team members order necessary supplies/tools and support other departmental functions as needed including working overtime.
Qualifications for the role:
- HS Diploma or equivalent required.
- 6 months of industrial or military experience or vocational/technical education; motor manufacturing experience preferred.
- Must pass a background and drug screen and have valid U.S. work authorization.
- Proficiency in reading speaking and writing English is essential for maintaining a safe work environment.
- Regular attendance and availability for overtime are essential job functions.
