JOB SUMMARY
Join the outstanding staff of Glenview Prairie Club Golf and Paddle! We are looking for Paddle Professionals to teach Paddle lessons and perform administrative duties as assigned. Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Creating an exceptional experience by providing first-class customer service to our guests
- Actively teaching group and private lessons
- Displaying a friendly and knowledgeable demeanor
- Effectively communicating and demonstrating proper techniques
- Successfully transferring skills such as grip stroke production serve footwork rules etc.
- Holding students attention and interest; keeping classes active and moving
- Focusing attention on students and correcting errors to avoid injury
- Keeping attendance records and following group lesson plan
- Demonstrating regular and reliable attendance; starting & ending lessons on time
- Assisting with morning and/or evening League play as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
The best candidates will have excellent customer service and communication skills and one to two years of paddle industry experience. High school diploma or equivalent; some college strongly preferred. Will consider significant and material experience in lieu of formal education. USPTA/USPTR certification preferred. Valid Illinois drivers license required.
SCHEDULING & PAY
This is a part-time year-round position. Hours are flexible and could include a combination of day night and weekend shifts. Starting pay is $30-$60 per hour for group lessons depending on qualifications and $45 per hour for private lessons.
