Packaging SupervisorGannett Publishing ServicesCanton OHCanton Packaging Department is looking for a full-time Packaing Supervisor in Canton OH for Gannett Publishing candidate will be responsible for the operation scheduling staffing quality control and accountability of all Packaging department be able to interface with other company departments and external customers to promote quality customer service and be able to plan and implement systems activities and be able to motivate discipline when necessary and maintain necessary personnel records and stay current with packaging and production be able to efficiently direct the work force to optimize be able to work within deadline constraints and maintain a safe OR TRAINING:College degree preferred or some college with equivalent work :Two years experience in newspaper Packaging department management/supervision exposure to production deadlines and :Must be up to date with current Packaging process equipment and :Must be competent in Microsoft Office Packaging software experience be able to plan communicate implement and assess complicated production plans and be well organized diligent and able to motivate work ABILITIES:Must be able to manage and facilitate production effectively and have excellent verbal and written communication be able to work odd hours and be available in case of emergencies or due to production problems.
