The goal is to deliver the best quality product to our customers in an efficient andtimelymanner while upholding safety and Oil-Dris WE CARE adaptable teammate the Packaging Operator may be called on tooperatevarious lines work with inventory housekeeping with any position within the companythe role embraces a strong commitment to safety as a core value ensures compliance with all applicable Federal/State Regulations and Oil Dris Health/Safety/Environmental practices and proceduresResponsibilitiesPerforms work according to established safety rules and practices environmental and housekeeping standards while striving for ZERO AccidentsOperate and maintainpackaging machinery and equipment including fillers sealers and labeling up packaging lines for production runs ensuring proper materials and configurations are in production processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality finished products for quality ensuring that they meet company specifications and and resolve any machinery or packaging line issues promptly to minimize of production quantities packaging materials used and any with team members to achieve production goals and support the overall efficiency of the all safety protocols andmaintaina clean and organized work inventory management including tracking packaging supplies and reporting in training programs to improve skills and knowledge related to packaging commitment to Oil-Dris quality and continuous improvement initiativeOperate and provide basic troubleshooting of their assigned station or lineReport issues to line lead as they ariseAssistas needed in monthly cycle counts and inventory activitiesWork to reduce oreliminatewaste anywhere and everywhere possible (Lean)Assistother stations lines and warehouse employees as needed or directedCollaborate with line leads team leads and supervisors to provide support for the packaging departmentPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Education:Musthave a high school verbal and written communication & Abilities:Experience with ERP systems is a plus ( SAP Salesforceetc).A strong commitment to Safety and WE CARE valuesRead & understand SOPsBasic mathematical skillsMust also be able to effectively explain issues when they arise to teammates or staff assigned to troubleshootAttention to detailAbility to notice and quickly respond to issues and dexterity good hand eye coordinationEmbrace continuous improvement and lean cultureAvailable for overtimeThis position requires presence on the production floor. Proper PPE isrequiredwhen working in these be able to function while using theappropriate PPEincluding but not limited to:Safety GlassesHard HatHearing ProtectionDust MaskGlovesProtective clothing/HarnessMust be able tofrequentlyliftsupto 50 be able to stand for the duration of the shiftBending twisting reachingstoopingand Rate: $20-22/hr
