Packaging Intern

The Packaging Engineer Intern will support the development evaluation and improvement of packaging solutions for laboratory products and materials.  This role will assist with packaging design testing documentation and process improvement initiatives to help ensure products are protected during storage and transportation while meeting customer and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design testing and validation of packaging materials and systems.
• Support packaging performance evaluations and transportation testing.
• Assist with packaging documentation specifications and change control activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications :

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree.  Preferred in Packaging Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Lift up to 20 lbs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Must be within 50 miles of San Jose CA

This Position is Monday - Friday up to 10 hours/week. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of San Jose CA are encouraged to apply. 

Target comp: $18.45/hr
