Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Perform aircraft structural modification and repair work on heavy aircraft structures
• Read and follow engineering drawings technical orders and repair instructions
• Use aircraft sheet metal and structural tools including drills rivet guns and precision measuring equipment
• Install fasten seal shim and repair structural aircraft components
• Support maintenance operations while following safety and FOD procedures
• Work closely with other maintenance teams to meet production schedules

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen lawful permanent resident or protected individual under ITAR regulations)
• 4 years of aircraft structural/sheet metal experience
• Experience working with aluminum titanium and stainless steel
• Experience using aircraft structural hand tools and riveting equipment
• Experience locating drilling countersinking and fastening aircraft structures
• Ability to read schematics specifications and assembly drawings
• Ability to work variable shifts overtime weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to work in confined spaces on ladders and lift approximately 35 lbs
