Summary:

• Perform aircraft structural repairs and modifications on B-52 aircraft
• Work with sheet metal drilling riveting sealing and structural installations
• Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and maintenance manuals
• Use aircraft structural tools such as rivet guns drills countersink cages and torque wrenches
• Troubleshoot and repair aircraft mechanical and structural components
• Assist with inspections maintenance activities and component replacements
• Follow safety procedures including FOD prevention and Lock Out/Tag Out requirements
• Work in confined spaces on elevated platforms and support team operations as needed

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen lawful permanent resident or protected individual under ITAR regulations)
• Minimum 1 years of experience working with non-porous metals such as aluminum titanium and stainless steel
• Minimum 1 years of experience interpreting schematics specifications assembly drawings and standard operating procedures
• Experience using aircraft structural hand tools including drills pancake adapters hole finders countersink cages and rivet guns
• Ability to work variable shifts overtime weekends and holidays as required
• Ability to lift approximately 35 pounds and work in confined or elevated spaces
• Ability to read write and comprehend English
• Must be able to obtain and maintain required certifications and training
