Job Description:
The Over the Road Driveris responsible forlong-haul transportation of goods ensuringtimelydeliveries while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. This role requires exceptional driving skills and the ability to managelogisticseffectively.
KeyResponsibilities:
Conduct Long-Haul Deliveries
- Transport goodsacrosslong distances while adhering to scheduled routes.
- Ensure that all cargo is secured properly for transit.
- Communicate with dispatchersregardingroute changes or delays.
Perform Vehicle Inspections
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Report mechanical issues and schedule necessary repairs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck.
Manage Logs and Documentation
- Maintainaccuraterecords of driving hours and cargo loads.
- Complete shipping anddeliverypaperwork accurately and promptly.
- Adhereto federal regulationsregardinghours of service.
Ensure Safety Compliance
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Participate in ongoing safety training and assessments.
- Report accidents incidents or safety hazardsimmediately.
Assist with Loading and Unloading
- Collaborate with team members to load and unload cargo safely.
- Operate necessary equipment for loading and unloading as needed.
- Monitor and report any issues during loading or unloading processes.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of OTR driving experience.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations.
- Ability tooperatevarious typesof trailers and equipment.
- Good communicationand interpersonal skills.

- Demonstrate reliability in meeting delivery schedules.
- Maintain a commitment to safety and best practices.
- Adapt tochanges in routes schedules or loads as needed.
Physical Demands:
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Navigate uneven terrain at job sites
- Use hands to handle tools materials and equipment
- Bend stoop kneel crouch and climb as
- Climb ladders and stairs
- Work at elevated heights when necessary
- Lift carry and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Maintain visual awareness sufficient to safelyoperatetools and equipment
