Shift: 2nd 12:00pm to 10:15pm Monday to Thursday

What youll do

Oven Operation and Monitoring: Operate and monitor industrial ovens used for heat treating castings ensuring all ovens are at required temperatures at shift start and maintaining those temperatures throughout the shift.

Load Preparation and Coordination: Prepare oven loads by organizing castings according to alloy type and section size coordinate with other operators on load sequencing and charge ovens with the correct recipes.

Record Keeping and Quality Control: Maintain accurate heat treat records including alloy type load details time in oven and visual inspection of castings to ensure quality standards are met.

Maintenance Support: Assist with basic oven maintenance and report any deviations such as temperature drops or unexpected shutdowns promptly to minimize downtime.

*Daily Success Indicators: Consistently follow heat treat processes maintain oven parameters within specifications demonstrate progressive learning and autonomy and contribute to a safe work environment.

What youll bring

Must-haves:

High School Diploma or GED.

Ability to follow detailed instructions and heat treat recipes accurately.

Nice-to-haves:

Previous experience working in heat treatment foundry or manufacturing environments with exposure to high temperatures.

Experience operating forklifts or coordinating with material handling teams.

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and respond to equipment deviations.
